Important!!! Tips on using the Forums
A)Registering:
When registering, you should receive a confirmation email at the email address you specified where you have to click a link there to fully activate your account. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes the email 2 hours to reach your inbox due to server overload. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you can't find the email, make sure to check your spam folder. If still you can't find the email after the 2 hours,contact me immediately. Update: Testing now shows that the email reaches the inbox within just 2 minutes B)Posting: 1)Posting Job Ads (e3lanat el wazayef) should be in the corresponding job offers and adverts forums under the category Careers and Jobs 2) There are special codes that can be used to format your post like making a certain word bold or italic or underlined. Some codes even offer more flexibility and options for your post. For example, there is a special code [img][/img] that makes you post an image. Another [url][/url] that makes you post a clickable link. Be sure to check VB Code List for a list of all available special codes. 3) Check the editor you use to post threads for different formatting keys and tools. Also be sure to click Preview Post before submitting your post to make sure it appears as you want it to appear. 4) Please do not use Attachments unnecessarily. There is a limit of attachments size for each user. If it's an image, post it (see number 7 below) rather than attaching it to the thread. It is also more user-friendly rather than forcing the user to download the attachment. Use attachments only when necessary like attaching a lengthy Microsoft Word document. A short one could be copy/pasted. 5) You can post in Arabic براحتك 6) While you are free to post whichever abides with the forums terms of service, it is preferred that you don't just post a link without enough explanation or discussion regarding the issue you are talking about. 7)To post an image, use the [img]link here[/img]. Insert the image link between the img opening and closing tag. However, if you link to an image displayed in an external site, this image could be later removed or replaced by the webmaster of that other site and in turn the image will change or disappear here on JoBreeze. The better solution is for you to join the image hosting famous sites like Flickr, PhotoBucket and Webshots and then upload in seconds the images you want there. Then ,link to those uploaded images here.This way you are sure the image won't be changed , since you're the one hosting it now. Joining such sites I mentioned takes less than a minute, and you get the BB(VB) code for displaying images in forums prepared for you in these sites. 8) If posting an article from another web site, please insert the link of the original source above or below your post with words like "taken from", "edited from"."extracted from"..etc.. C)Calendar: 1) There are two calendars on the site:work-related calendar and leisure time calendar. Both can be accessed through the calendar link above. Feel free to post events occurring anywhere in Egypt on the calendar for everyone to know about it, but please post the event in the corresponding calendar. For example, if it is a cultural event in the Opera House, post it in the Lesiure Time Calendar. If it's a business event, post it in the work_related one. 2) When adding an event to the calendar, choose the correct type (single,ranged or recurring) and date. Also, please make a thread about the event in the Events Forum to give our members the chance to ask more questions or give their comments as regards the event. Please entitle the thread in the format: date/name of event. There are examples already there in the forum. 3) As a user ,you can view information regarding the events on the calendar by clicking the event's link. However, for possibly more information or to post your own comments or questions you have as regards the event, please visit the Events Forum. |
